RACER FEEDBACK FROM ROUND #6
After it was all said and done, the Compise family still had a good time and was thankful to all that helped put the puzzle together. Keep up the good work and see you next round!!
Christopher Compise, #66
You guys did a great job and should be thanked for your time spent putting it together. I am just glad to have had one more opportunity to ride with you all again. If I didn't have bike trouble I would have stayed...your races are the best, I am always welcomed and there is no pressure, just have fun. Thank you all for the great job and I look forward to the next race as I ease back into the game.
Sincerely,
Victor Monz, #16n
I would like to thank all of you who made the race happen, and it was “one of those racing deals” that make great conversation for years. Riding the modified modern track reminds me what a great job ARX does on designing and preparing our usual awesome vintage motocross tracks! It also gave me a chance to stress test my recent suspension mods. I think I still have some work to do.

Sometimes there just too dang much drama. All I want to do is ride! You, your crew and the club made that possible for me to do.
Thanks

Thanks for all yours and your team’s efforts. Even though we didn't get our expected track, I still enjoyed it. I really like the program you run. Keep up the good work!
Sincerely,

I finally got to run my bike on a track that tested both my bike and I. It really was not that bad. Yeah okay I broke my collar bone and that was the bad part but it happened in a slow sand turn not anything tough. I wanted to pass too soon and took a chance. Win some lose some. I do have insurance and know that "if you play you play" lol. I have confidence in our club staff and trust their judgment. Sunday was okay and I'm not just saying that because they gave me morphine. I hate to take aspirin so you know what a contrast it was for me. Anyway I'll be back soon enough and can't wait. Take care and thanks for that great effort I saw you guys make.
I could not say enough about how touched I felt with yours and everyone's kindness Sunday at Glen Helen. I was very taken aback by your offer to take my bike, and me, home at the very moment without hesitation. I will always remember that Mike, THANK YOU very much. I think you and the staff did a great job with the track. As I told Rick D. I have complete confidence in your judgment as a club and care for rider safety. I'll be looking forward to watching and itching to saddle up again. You take it easy MIKE and will talk again soon.
Tom Chavez, #54 The track was not ideal and I in fact throw my back out pretty good by over-jumping that first table top jump. But that was my choice and a choice we all had. And my guess is that is what distinguished Vintage guys from the current crop of racers. We race for the love of it, whether on prep-smooth or rutted-rough. Hope you are feeling better and see you next month. Patrick Johnson, #69x
I truly hope that no one is bagging on you for what happened Sunday. You clearly did you best in a fairly unworkable situation. On top of being a volunteer, I believe you were also under the weather all week, so you deserve extra credit for going above and beyond the call. The easy thing to have done was just to cancel the race and blame it on GH. You didn't. I take that as a real sign of commitment on your part.
