We go racing to get away from the overbearing rules and regulations of the twenty first century but we also realize that we need some minimal guidelines in order to have a fair playing field. To that end, you can count our rules on one hand:
.) Ride classes that are appropriate for your bike and your age. If you are new to the sport or our club and have questions, just ask, we'll be glad to help.
.) If you intend to race make sure you have contrasting numbers to the backgrounds on all three of your number plates. It really helps if there are the same numbers on all three plates.
.) It is important to keep in mind that we ride for fun not money and that your fellow competitors deserve the same respect and consideration on the track as off. Full contact, aggressive riding is not only uncool, it is dangerous for all involved.
.) Motorcycle racing is inherently dangerous and we try and minimize the risk as much as possible with responsible practices like moving off the track if you fall or your bike stops running. The broken leg you save may be your own.
.) Sign up closes at 8:45am. Rider's meeting is at 8:45 Practice begins at 9:00am. If you are not signed up at 8:45am, you can't practice. If you don't ride practice, you can't race. No exceptions sorry. It is a safety thing. Oh yeah, no refunds after practice starts.
